Halloween in Monitor Valley is a little different than anywhere else in the world. When your neighbors are 27 miles away, you don't really do much trick-or-treating. Last year we invited our neighbors to our house for a Halloween party and this year we went down there. The whole valley was there (all 6 of us plus one visitor). We had a nice dinner and then dressed the kids up in costumes. Our neighbors have a little boy that is a few months older than Casey. We then armed all the adults with bags of candy and told them to hide behind any of the doors in the house. I took all the kids to each door where they would knock and say trick-or-treat. I guess like a trunk or treat only indoors. The kids loved it. Casey really figured out the getting candy
thing.
I love this costume that Casey is in. Allison sent it to us a few year ago. It is a giraffe. You really can't appreciate it until you get a back view. Casey went back and forth between this and a cow costume. He really didn't stay in either for very long.
Morgan was a witch. (Thanks to my mom's costume box.) Morgan and Dana also carved their pumpkins. Dana's was a scary one and Morgan's was silly.
Dana was a little pink rabbit complete with a little white tail.
