Summer has been long in coming. I think that we missed spring somewhere, but we are finally getting some nice days. The kids are so excited because they can go swimming. Here are a few of the pictures of their own make shift swimming pools. You just have to love molasses tubs! 
We just brought up a water trough that was not being used for their new swimming pool. Just don't have pictures of that yet.
We are currently the owners of 12 chickens. The kids have been wanting chickens for some time now, but we just were able to find some that were all ready laying eggs. They have been thrilled and can hardly wait till their little money making venture takes off. As soon as my computer decides to work with me instead of against me I will get some pictures up of the chickens.

Looks like fun to me! Good luck with the chickens. Our one hen has been sitting on some again so we'll see if she has the patience to stick it out this time and hatch them. And hopefully, if they do hatch, we can catch them before the other chickens get to them.
Those tubs are probably more fun than a regular pool. Are you bringing the chickens with you over the 4th??
