4th of July

We had big plans for the 4th to attend the annual Neff/Jenson Reunion in Ruby Valley. We got everything packed and headed out on Friday to soon find that our truck was not running well. We made it back home changed some filters and then tried going again only to find the same results. Once again we came home. To say that we were all disappointed is a big understatement. Our kids were crushed. We decided to go up the mountain by our house and do a little dutch oven cooking. We built a fire and cooked some food and even had smores, which Casey has been talking about since he found out we were going to be camping in Ruby Valley. It was fun.
Saturday we went with Cassidy to fix fence up Berch Creek where we will be taking cows later this week. We were at the top of the mountain and found a man that had rolled his 4-wheeler over. Luckily he was not hurt, but he could not get the 4-wheeler turned back over. Cassidy was able to help him get everything back in place. Later that night, Morgan told me that she knew why Heavenly Father did not fix our truck when we asked him to. She said he needed us to be here so that we could help that guy with his 4-wheeler. O the faith of little children. If only I could be more like them.
Although this 4th was bit of a disappointment, we did have a good time spending time together as a family.

We sure missed you guys coming to Ruby Valley and camping at the reunion. Camas and Orrin were very sad too. Morgan, you are probably right. You needed to be home so you could help that man. We will see you soon I hope. We are going to start being busy in the hayfields. Love, Grandma
