Together once again.

The last two weeks have been really eventful for this family. The kids and I went to visit Aunt Haley in Ohio. We flew out of Reno on Monday, September 8th and flew back the next Monday on the 15th. Thank you Mom for being our taxi there and back!! Cassidy came and got us from Fallon on Tuesday and then Wednesday he had to go to Charleston to work some cows and just got back on Friday. WOW, a lot of traveling for a family that are relatively homebodies.

We had a great time in Ohio. I have not flown in about 9 years, so I had a hard time preparing my kids for what to expect. The security measures have sure changed. Thank you mom for helping us go through the first time in Reno. The kids did great. The scariest part of the flying was for the one that had to sit by a stranger. That was more scary than the actual flying. They did great though.

We had a fun filled week with Aunt Haley. We tried to do everything possible, from visiting the Cincinnati Zoo to visiting the Amish Country in Holmes County, Ohio. This was really neat. We loved seeing all of the horse and buggies everywhere. The only downfall is that it rained both days that we were there. O well we didn't let it stop us. We still dragged the kids along. We went on so many adventures that when we asked the kids if they were ready to go on another adventure, Morgan would ask first where are we going. She wanted to know how long of a drive before she agreed. They were all troopers though. Once I get my picture back I will post some of them. Yes, we are probably the only people in the world that do not own a digital camera. I still have to wait for them to be developed:)

Aunt Haley has a great place that was a lot of fun to explore. Of course the pool was one of the great highlights. It took my girls a while to be as brave as Kanigh, but before long they were armed in huge life jackets and were jumping in right beside Kanigh. We had so much fun playing together. Thank you Aunt Haley and Uncle Kirk for all the fun that we were able to have together.
