I can't believe this little girl turned 7 yesterday. Where has all the time gone. She was so excited for her birthday. She was able to pick what she wanted to eat for each meal. For breakfast she had crepes complete with whip cream and fresh peaches. She requested cheese toasties for lunch and then for the big meal she wanted steak, dutch oven potatoes, and shrimp. Of course we couldn't forget the cottontail sauce (As Morgan calls cocktail sauce). This year she wanted the yummy chocolate pudding layer dessert for her cake. That was fine by me!!
We had a pinata filled with candies that the kids had a great time trying to break. I do think that the biggest highlight of her day was the fact that she did not have to do chores:) We had a great day with her. I just can't believe that she is 7.

Good to hear she had such a good day. The slacker that I am didn't even call. Sorry Morgan. You'll learn not to expect anything from Aunt Kinsey. I can't believe that she is 7. Wow!
WOW! Those pictures make it all reality for sure! I remember being at college in Reno and finding out you had a little girl and you named her Morgan. I remember being so happy I cried like for an hour straight. I don't know what was my deal...:)? anyway, I am so glad she's here and a part of our family! She is so SUPER lucky to have a mommy like you, that is for sure!!
Morgan, you are one of the smartest little girls I know. I can't believe that you are 7 years old now. Time goes by so fast! I think my favorite part about you is your imagination. I remember a couple of years ago when we were at Grandma and Grandpa Dahl's house and you were playing pirates with all the kids. You were telling them to call you captain and they were the "maties". I love you Morgan!
Your kids are so stinkin' cute! I can still remember how well mannered and kind they were when I saw you in Alamo. Great job, mom!
(Oh, and sorry about the cold weather.....that is HORRIFYING to the Las Vegas/city girl I have sadly become!) :)
